Clinical psychologist with expertise in geropsychology, neuropsychological assessment of adults, and disability. Dr. Reger is licensed in California, Illinois, and Indiana, and has an active clinical practice that includes assessment and therapy with adults and older adults. She has nearly 10 years of experience working at the VA in spinal cord injury, neuropsychological assessment, transplant and implant presurgical evaluation, long-term care, and medical psychology settings. She built and directed the neuropsychology clinic within the spinal cord injury unit at the Long Beach VA, and was the director of training at the large, APA-accredited psychology doctoral training program there. Dr. Reger became a California certified Qualified Medical Evaluator in 2021, and is available as an AME and IME for psychological and neuropsychological assessment cases involving workers' compensation and disability. She specializes in capacity assessment, including for testamentary, financial, medical-decision-making, and independent living capacity, as well as cases of conservatorship and guardianship, and contested will cases. Dr. Reger has a great deal of teaching and public speaking experience, and co-owns a geropsychology continuing education company that is approved by APA to offer CE courses to psychologists.
