Dr. Krad has a particular interest in the evaluation of visual outcomes following cataract and refractive surgery, including issues involving intraocular lens power calculations, dysphotopsia, residual refractive error, and patient expectations regarding postoperative vision. He is also experienced in the diagnosis and management of vision-threatening conditions such as retinal detachment, glaucoma, ocular infections, and neuro-ophthalmic disorders. Dr. Krad is available to review cases involving a wide range of ophthalmology-related issues, including cataract surgery complications, refractive surgery complications (LASIK/PRK), intraocular lens selection and power calculation disputes, refractive surprise, dysphotopsia, retained lens fragments, endophthalmitis, retinal detachment diagnosis and management, glaucoma diagnosis or delayed treatment, missed or delayed ophthalmic diagnoses, postoperative infections, ocular trauma, visual complaints after head injury or traumatic brain injury, informed consent issues, ophthalmic diagnostic testing interpretation, and other ophthalmic standard-of-care concerns.
