I am a medical expert in interventional and non-interventional pain management. I have 20 years of experience in outpatient and inpatient pain medicine including medication management, procedures, and surgeries including those for neuromodulation (spinal cord stimulation and peripheral nerve stimulation) and minimally invasive spinal procedures. I am in active in clinical practice and treat the following major categories of pain: acute, chronic, spinal, joint, cancer, neuropathic, inflammatory, and musculoskeletal. I am double boarded in anesthesiology and pain medicine with a 10-year recertification achieved through the American Board of Anesthesiology. I am a professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine at a renown academic health center in California but I also have experience in leadership at the national level, research in pain medicine, teaching at the School of Medicine, and managing aspects of clinical work for an academic health system. This has resulted in multiple publications in high impact journals and presentations at national meetings. Lastly, I have approximately five years of experience in providing expert witness testimony for a variety of pain related cases. I meet all the required deadlines and am available to clients for extended hours. My written work and opinions have been included in briefs, and I have been effective in explaining my thought process to non-medical personnel.
