Karen Woods, MS, CNM, C-EFM is a practicing Certified Nurse Midwife with expertise in obstetrics, labor and delivery management, electronic fetal monitoring interpretation, obstetric triage, induction and augmentation of labor, oxytocin management, non-reassuring fetal heart rate patterns, Category II and Category III fetal heart rate tracings, shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, fetal demise evaluation, and obstetrical standards of care. Ms. Woods is the Director of Midwifery for a large, multi-site obstetric practice and oversees a team of Certified Nurse Midwives who provide care across multiple hospital settings. She maintains an active clinical practice providing both outpatient prenatal care and inpatient labor and delivery management, caring for patients throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period.
