Dr. Meg Iyer School Psychologist, Educational Leader & Expert Consultant I am an experienced school psychologist and educational leader dedicated to promoting educational equity and inclusive practices for students with disabilities. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in psychoeducational evaluations, transition planning, and MTSS (Multi-Tiered Systems of Support) implementation. I have a strong background in developing data-driven interventions and providing professional development to educators to improve student outcomes. Currently, I serve as Associate Dean at Bellevue College’s Occupational & Life Skills program and as a Transition Specialist at the Center for Change in Transition Services, where I lead training and consultation efforts for school districts across Washington State. Additionally, I am an Adjunct Professor at Seattle University, teaching graduate courses in school psychology and supervising interns. My work focuses on helping school systems better support students with disabilities, by implementing Universal Design for Learning (UDL), social-emotional learning (SEL), and evidence-based transition practices. I am committed to fostering collaboration and equity in education through my work with both schools and state agencies. I hold a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Gonzaga University, an Ed.S. in School Psychology, MPA from NYU, Masters of Science in Teaching, a BA from Brown University, and a Principal/Administrator Certificate. I am also a member of the Washington State Special Education Inclusionary Practices Technical Assistance Team and served as a state delegate to the National Transition Council. I have worked with students with disabilities at all educational levels from early childhood through the college level. I am well-versed in educational law and am eager to bring my expertise in IEP compliance, disability evaluation, and transition planning to assist in consultations and provide insight into cases related to special education practices.
