Additional Information

Neetu Khurana Sodhi, DO, MPH, FACOG I am a board-certified obstetrician–gynecologist in active clinical practice and serve as Department Chair of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Providence Cedars-Sinai Tarzana Medical Center. I also serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Western University of Health Sciences. I am a Fellow of the invitation-only Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. My professional roles provide a broad perspective in the medical-legal setting. I practice as a high-volume hospital laborist managing complex delivery-room cases, maintain a solo private practice, and serve in administrative leadership overseeing obstetric quality, peer review, and patient safety initiatives. I actively practice obstetrics and gynecology and manage a wide range of obstetric and surgical cases. My obstetric experience includes operative vaginal delivery, shoulder dystocia, postpartum hemorrhage, fetal heart-rate monitoring interpretation, and emergency obstetric management. My gynecologic practice includes minimally invasive and robotic surgery as well as management of abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, and gynecologic surgical complications. I am a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP) through The Menopause Society, with clinical expertise in menopause management and hormone therapy. My practice includes evaluation and treatment of menopausal symptoms, individualized hormone therapy prescribing, and management of patients with complex risk profiles. This experience is directly relevant to cases involving hormone-therapy decision-making, risk counseling, contraindications to treatment, management of postmenopausal bleeding, and evaluation of gynecologic conditions arising in midlife and postmenopausal patients. I hold a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management, which informs my understanding of hospital systems, documentation standards, institutional protocols, and the processes used to evaluate adherence to medical standards of care. In my hospital leadership role, I regularly review obstetric cases involving complications, quality events, and clinical outcomes. This includes detailed medical-record review, evaluation of clinical decision-making in time-sensitive situations, and analysis of adherence to accepted practice guidelines. I provide expert review and analysis in matters involving obstetric complications, operative vaginal delivery, fetal monitoring interpretation, birth injury, postpartum hemorrhage, gynecologic surgery, and menopause management including hormone therapy and midlife women’s health. My approach emphasizes careful chart review, objective assessment of the standard of care, and clear explanation of complex clinical issues for attorneys and consulting professionals. I am available for medical record review, case screening, expert consultation, preparation of expert reports, deposition, and trial testimony when appropriate.
