Dr. Ashkan Lee Naraghi is a board-certified pulmonologist, intensivist, and internist with extensive academic, clinical, and medico-legal experience. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and formerly served as Clinical Chief of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Division within the Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Naraghi earned his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience from UCLA and his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, followed by fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Cedars-Sinai. He is the co-founder of the Beverly Hills Lung & Sleep Institute, where he maintains an active clinical practice, and serves as an attending physician at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. His clinical scope includes pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, sleep disorders, cardiopulmonary evaluation, and internal medicine. He is actively involved in medical education, serving as a teaching attending for medical students, residents, fellows, and nurse practitioner trainees, as well as participating in clinical research. Dr. Naraghi is a Qualified Medical Examiner for the State of California and performs comprehensive medical-legal evaluations involving pulmonary, respiratory, sleep-related, and internal medicine conditions. In addition, he provides expert witness services in a wide range of legal matters, including civil litigation, workers’ compensation, and other legal proceedings involving issues related to pulmonary medicine, critical care medicine, and internal medicine. His work includes case review, medical record analysis, impairment evaluation, report preparation, depositions, and trial testimony. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Pulmonary Disease and is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians. Dr. Naraghi has authored peer-reviewed publications and has presented at regional and national scientific meetings.
