People matter - this includes not only patients themselves, but the physicians and caregivers who provide their care. ‘Ars Medicinae’ - The Art of Medicine - Particularly Emergency Medicine - is a high stakes, high pressure, routinely scrutinized endeavor, with accusations and inquiries being commonplace. Vastly experienced, Board Certified Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians with over 19 years of full time experience as an attending in the emergency department. I have seen tens of thousands of patients in various environments such as Urban Level 1 trauma teaching centers, small and mid sized rural departments, Indian reservations, and multiple free standing Emergency Departments throughout the country. I’m clinically active full time, and depending upon the facility, also help teach students and residents in the ED clinical setting. I’m interested and more than qualified to objectively evaluate cases - for the Plaintiff or defense - pertaining to the Emergency Department evaluation, care and claims concerning medical malpractice and negligence. Examples include, but are not limited to - missed diagnosis, Improper performance of procedures, EMTALA, Delayed and / or improper treatment, Sepsis, Myocardial infarction, stroke, Aneurysm’s, torsions, incarcerated hernias, pain control, Appendicitis, cholecystitis, wrongful death, etc. I’m ethical, organized, easy to work with, and can take complex medical issues and break them down into layman’s terms. I’ll provide you with an unbiased, evidence based opinion as to whether or not I believe your case has merit from an emergency perspective, and am able to provide expert witness testimony at deposition and trial if required. I check my phone and email frequently, so if I don’t answer initially I will get back to you promptly ( same or next day ).
