I am a board-certified emergency medicine physician with 15 years of active clinical practice in a hospital-based emergency department. My clinical work involves the evaluation and management of acutely ill and injured patients across the full spectrum of emergency presentations, including undifferentiated complaints, medical emergencies, and trauma. I have extensive experience working with emergency medicine residents and explaining my thought processes regarding standard of care in clinical practice. My experience includes the assessment and management of common emergency department presentations such as chest pain, shortness of breath, abdominal pain, altered mental status, sepsis, stroke evaluation, and trauma. I routinely make time-sensitive diagnostic and treatment decisions based on available clinical information, established standards of care, and institutional resources. In my medical-legal consulting work, I will provide objective, evidence-based opinions regarding emergency department evaluation, clinical decision-making, and adherence to the standard of care. My reviews will be based on thorough analysis of the medical record, applicable clinical guidelines, and prevailing emergency medicine practices at the time of care. I am board-certified with the American Board of Emergency Medicine and hold active medical licenses in New Jersey, Florida, and Ohio. I am available for record review, written reports, deposition, and trial testimony as appropriate.
