The majority of my professional experience has been in adult male correctional institutions (prisons, jails, state hospitals), with extensive experience in crisis and acute hospital settings. I specialize in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of serious mental illnesses including schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, antisocial and borderline personality disorders, PTSD, and major depression. I have considerable knowledge of evidence-based medical practices for the symptoms and behaviors of these disorders, including psychosis, mania, depression, impulsive violence, suicidal behavior, and chronic self-injury.
