Cortney Bindrich, Ed.D.is a clinical psychologist in Illinois specializing in pediatric neuropsychology. Dr. Bindrich earned a doctoral degree in School Psychology with an emphasis in Neuropsychology as well as an Education Specialist degree in School Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, following the receipt of her Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She completed her APA-approved clinical internship in Illinois and her two-year post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric neuropsychology in Wisconsin. Working across school, hospital, and clinic settings, Dr. Bindrich has been conducting comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations since 2016 across multiple settings. Her expertise includes brain injury and concussions, as well as understanding the effects of elevated blood lead levels on the brain, neurodevelopmental disorders, such as intellectual impairment, learning disorders (e.g., dyslexia), attention-deficit disorders (ADHD), and autism spectrum disorder. Dr. Bindrich also frequently evaluates children, adolescents, and young adults for anxiety disorders and depression. She takes a multidisciplinary approach to assessment and intervention, utilizing the most current evidence-based practices in the fields of neuropsychology and education. Dr. Bindrich was welcomed in 2021 by Loyola University Chicago as a Clinical Assistant Professor in their School Psychology department. Current courses she teaches include: cognitive assessment, academic assessment, social/emotional assessment, psychopathology, and biological basis of behavior. Additionally, she is a member of the Brain Injury Alliance of Illinois and an active participant of the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN); to which she is also a member of their Women in Leadership Committee. Dr. Bindrich also delivers professional development presentations to families, educators, and professional associations (e.g., Illinois State Bar Association). In her free time, Dr. Bindrich enjoys spending time with her family, playing tennis, listening to podcasts, and watching movies. She is a native of Wisconsin and loves her Green Bay Packers!
