Dr. Granovetter has over 20 years of experience in Addiction Medicine, including extensive work in physician health, impairment assessment, and physician well-being leadership. His professional background includes clinical addiction medicine practice as well as long-standing leadership roles focused on the evaluation and management of impairment in safety-sensitive professionals, particularly physicians. He is a Fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (FASAM) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Addiction Medicine. He is also a Certified Medical Review Officer (MRO). Dr. Granovetter has significant experience applying accepted medical standards to questions of diagnosis, functional impairment, relapse risk, and fitness to practice. As an expert witness, Dr. Granovetter provides objective, evidence-based opinions in both plaintiff and defense matters.
