Dr. Joshua Houser, MD, FACEP, FAAEM is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with extensive experience in high-acuity emergency care. He practices primarily in Level I and Level II trauma centers, high-volume urban and suburban emergency departments, and both academic and non-academic pediatric Emergency Departments. His clinical background also includes the entire gamut of Emergency care including single-coverage rural level IV Emergency Departments, and freestanding emergency centers, giving him a comprehensive understanding of standards of care across the full spectrum of emergency practice environments. Dr. Houser serves as Medical Director for multiple Emergency Departments, overseeing quality assurance, clinical operations, physician staffing models, performance metrics, and multidisciplinary teamwork. He advises other attending physicians, while supervising residents, and advanced practice providers, and has deep experience with documentation standards, airway management, trauma resuscitation, pediatric emergency care, stroke, cardiac emergencies, sepsis, shock, and high-risk clinical decision making. He has provided sworn deposition testimony as a treating physician and is trained in chart review, case screening, medical timeline reconstruction, and standard-of-care analysis. Dr. Houser offers clear, objective, and unbiased case review and is available for plaintiff, defense, or system-level consultation.
