I am a board-certified critical care pharmacist (BCCCP) with nearly 15 years of full-time clinical experience in emergency medicine and critical care. I currently practice as a full-time Emergency Medicine Pharmacist in a high-volume emergency department in North Carolina, providing direct bedside care to critically ill and injured patients. My advanced training includes a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency and a PGY2 Critical Care Pharmacy residency. Over my career, I have conducted numerous forensic medication chart reviews, assessed adverse drug events, and evaluated medication errors in complex emergency and critical care settings. I have led or contributed to more than 40 protocol, guideline, policy, and process improvement initiatives, and I regularly perform practice reviews for regulatory compliance and accreditation standards through both hospital and consulting roles. In addition to my active clinical practice, I train pharmacy students and residents in real-time bedside care, ensuring I remain current with evolving standards of care and best practices.
