Dr. Kari L. Brodsky, DDS, MS, is a Board-Certified Endodontist (Diplomate, American Board of Endodontics) with extensive clinical, academic, and leadership experience across multiple endodontic and multidisciplinary practices. She completed her Endodontic Residency and Master of Science at the University of Detroit Mercy and her General Practice Residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, where she trained directly under a dental medical expert witness and participated in peer review evaluations, trauma assessments, and forensic case preparation. Dr. Brodsky has over a decade of specialty clinical experience and is the Founder and Principal of Kari L. Brodsky DDS, MS, PLLC. She has served as Endodontist, COO, and CFO for multiple practices where she developed operational protocols, financial strategy, and compliance systems. Her expertise includes diagnosis and management of complex endodontic conditions, traumatic dental injuries, CBCT interpretation, missed canals, instrument separation, iatrogenic complications, perforation repair, post-operative infection analysis, and standard-of-care evaluation. A respected leader in organized dentistry, Dr. Brodsky serves as President of the Michigan Association of Endodontists (MAE) and has held positions including Treasurer and Continuing Education Chair. She is also a Key Opinion Leader for Endo Direct, a global endodontic supply company. She lectures nationally, including invited presentations at the American Association of Endodontists (AAE) Annual Sessions on disability insurance, fertility, career longevity, and professional risk management. Dr. Brodsky brings a unique financial and regulatory background to her expert witness work, currently completing her MBA through the University of Michigan Ross School of Business (graduating 2026). She applies these analytical skills to complex case reviews, causation analysis, standard-of-care assessments, and deposition preparation. Her expert witness services include comprehensive record review, written reports, CBCT/radiograph interpretation, forensic endodontic analysis, insurance/IME evaluations, deposition testimony, and trial testimony for both plaintiff and defense. Dr. Brodsky is licensed in Michigan and available for nationwide consultation.
