Robin Richardson, M.S, CRC, CVE is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Certified Vocational Evaluator with extensive experience in vocational evaluation, employability assessment, labor market analysis, transferable skills analysis, workforce development, rehabilitation counseling, and vocational expert consultation. Her professional career has focused on helping individuals with disabilities and other barriers to employment achieve meaningful vocational outcomes through comprehensive assessment, rehabilitation planning, career development, and evidence-based vocational services. She brings a unique combination of frontline vocational rehabilitation experience, management and supervisory experience, vocational evaluation expertise, and workforce development knowledge to her consulting and expert witness practice. Ms. Richardson currently serves as a Vocational Evaluator and Trainer with Land of Goods Vocational Consulting, where she conducts comprehensive vocational evaluations, transferable skills analyses, employability assessments, labor market analyses, work capacity evaluations, simulated workplace assessments, and vocational consulting services. She evaluates educational, vocational, psychological, and medical information to formulate objective vocational opinions regarding employability, earning capacity, vocational limitations, labor market access, job placement potential, rehabilitation needs, and workforce participation. She also provides oversight and review of vocational reports, trains vocational professionals, and ensures compliance with industry standards and best practices. Her evaluations routinely incorporate data from the Dictionary of Occupational Titles (DOT), Occupational Outlook Handbook (OOH), Occupational Information Network (O*NET), labor market surveys, vocational testing, and transferable skills methodologies. Prior to joining Land of Goods Vocational Consulting, Ms. Richardson served as a Supervisor and Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor with the State of Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. In this leadership role, she supervised vocational rehabilitation staff, managed complex caseloads, monitored quality assurance activities, coordinated vocational services, evaluated employment outcomes, and ensured compliance with state and federal rehabilitation regulations. She was responsible for hiring, training, mentoring, and evaluating staff while overseeing the delivery of vocational rehabilitation services designed to assist individuals with disabilities in obtaining, maintaining, and advancing in competitive employment. This experience provided her with extensive knowledge of vocational rehabilitation systems, disability-related employment barriers, rehabilitation planning, labor market access, workforce participation, and vocational service delivery. Ms. Richardson also served as an Employment Specialist with the State of Florida Division of Blind Services, where she worked directly with individuals experiencing physical, intellectual, developmental, visual, and psychological disabilities. Her responsibilities included job placement, employer engagement, vocational counseling, workforce development, disability-related employment support, and promotion of inclusive employment practices. She collaborated with employers to facilitate successful job placements and provided education regarding disability inclusion, workplace accommodations, ADA compliance, and workforce integration strategies. This experience strengthened her understanding of employment barriers, vocational adjustment, workforce participation, accommodation needs, and the practical realities of obtaining and maintaining competitive employment.
