I have an extensive background in cannabis cultivation in the legal and regulated industry across the country. I have a Bachelor of Science degree from Umass Amherst in Plant, Soil, and Insect Sciences which also included business course study from the Eisenberg School of Management. I have experience with golf course work and landscape construction prior to entering the cannabis industry in 2014. Since becoming involved in legal cannabis cultivation I rapidly excelled from an entry level cultivation technician, to a national consultant over the course of 3 years. Since becoming a consultant I have worked on over 30 unique projects in 19 different states. I have experience with all aspects of cultivation, from competitive applications; design and planning of ground up projects and retrofits; operational planning and pro-forma creation; construction and project management of large and small scale facilities; equipment commissioning, facility startup, and writing/implementation of SOPs; training of staff and process optimization; detailed analysis of data to track KPI's and ensure businesses are running efficiently. My technical writing skills have enabled me to work as a cultivation specialist on 5 separate competitive licensing applications, with 2 of the winners receiving the top scores for those application batches. I am also a skilled expert witness that has served as a cultivation expert on 4 different cases, having performed extensive legal document review, provided multiple expert witness reports, and experience with depositions and witness testimony/cross examination. My work ethic and determination have allowed me to become a highly regarded expert in designing, building, starting, managing, and optimizing cultivation facilities and operations of all types and sizes. My problem solving and critical thinking skills have enabled me to provide unique solutions for all clients and have a consistent track record of success.
