Charles is a Board-Certified Physical Security Professional (PSP®) & a Florida designated Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Practitioner (FCP) with more than 30 years of experience in the physical security industry. In his current role as the Founder & CEO of NGA Security Advisors he provides consultation to clients in a variety of industries. He conducts onsite technology, vulnerability & CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) assessments and then provide detailed reports identifying current technology that exists, potential new technology improvements, areas of vulnerability and where CPTED can be applied to deter crime. Charles can assist with Negligent Security, Premises Liability, Personal Injury cases where Security Management, Crime Prevention, Physical Access Control, Cameras, Video Surveillance, Biometrics, Artificial Intelligence, Vehicle Entrance, Pedestrian Entrance, Exterior Barriers, Fire, Burglar & Sprinkler Alarms are being called into question. His background working with clients span a wide range of environments, including, but not limited to: • Apartments • Condominium • Higher Education & K-12 • Gaming & Casinos • Entertainment Venues He is a member of IAPSC (International Association of Professional Security Consultants), ASIS (American Society for Industrial Security), SIA (Security Industry Association) & US CPTED. His current Certificates include PSP (Physical Security Professional) from ASIS & FCP (Florida CPTED Practitioner) from State of Florida Office of Attorney General - Florida Crime Prevention Training Institute. In addition, Charles is experienced in the compliance process with the Florida Tort Reform Bill / Florida House Bill 837 / Florida Statute 768.0706 that was signed into law in March 2023 providing a “Presumption Against Liability” for multi-family property owners/management companies against premises liability/personal injury claims/lawsuits. Charles is very adept at educating others on the initial and ongoing compliance requirements including CPTED Assessment, security improvements and employee education. He earned the requisite FCP (Florida CPTED Practitioner) designation in December 2024, which was granted by the State of Florida Office of Attorney General. He is also a member of US CPTED and is dedicated to educating others on the substantial Crime Prevention benefits of incorporating CPTED in a building's environmental design.
