He has provided testimony and reports on software source code, trade secret misappropriation, and patent validity/non-infringement across both hardware and software domains. With over 40 years of global engineering and executive leadership, Mr. Fincher has served as Vice President of Engineering, Chief Technology Officer, and General Manager in high-reliability manufacturing environments across the U.S., Europe, China, India, and Australia. His background includes semiconductor manufacturing, embedded systems, electronics, software architecture, and process control systems. He integrates hands-on technical knowledge with executive-level experience in project governance, product development, and manufacturing quality. Representative expert engagements include: • Semiconductor arbitration (Fortune 100) — Technology expert in multi-billion-dollar JAMS arbitration involving ASIC cost modeling, yield forecasting, and supply agreements. • TRW v. Panasonic (MI & PRC) — Lead expert in automotive electronics failure analysis; established and operated a high-capability electronics test laboratory and conducted extensive data analysis and accelerated life testing. • Ruiz Fajardo v. Flow Intl.
