I am a Harvard-trained, board-certified anesthesiologist with experience in both academic and private practice settings; skilled in education, research, innovation, leadership, and patient care. I have significant teaching experience ranging from undergraduates and medical students to residents and fellows at top tier institutions including Harvard, the University of South Florida, Florida State University, Cleveland Clinic, and Moffitt Cancer Center. Significant leadership positions include Vice Chief of Anesthesiology and Director of the Preoperative Clinic at Cleveland Clinic Martin Health and Medical Director of Enhanced Recovery after Surgery, an institution-wide, multidisciplinary endeavor, at the nationally ranked Moffitt Cancer Center. I have served as a peer reviewer within these organizations and helped develop guidelines for safe and effective anesthetic care. I hold multiple awards and have contributed to the invention of several patent-pending medical devices.
