Matthew Labreche, MSc, PharmD, is an experienced pharmacist with 12 years of experience in infectious diseases pharmacotherapy. He specializes in antimicrobial stewardship, pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics, antimicrobial resistance, and patient care. Matthew holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Northeastern University and a Master’s of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin. He has served as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Specialist and Antimicrobial Stewardship leader in public and private health systems, overseeing their development and expansion and guiding them through Joint Commission evaluation. Additionally, Matthew has experience working on Infection Control, Sepsis, Surgical Infection, and Quality Improvement committees. Furthermore, Dr Labreche has served as a preceptor for pharmacy students and pharmacy residents and routinely provides lectures for departments of medicine and surgery.
