Dr. David Galpern earned his medical degree from the State University of New York Health Sciences Center at Brooklyn. He completed a general surgery residency at New York Methodist Hospital. He finished two hand surgery fellowships: one at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand and Microsurgery in Louisville, KY, and another at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, focusing on hand and upper limb surgery. Dr. Galpern has extensive training and knowledge in both surgical and non-surgical treatments for traumatic, degenerative, and repetitive-use injuries related to the hand, wrist, and forearm.
