Mr. Jackson has 27+ years' experience as an Engineer with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A & M University graduating in 1984. Mr. Jackson has testified as an expert witness over 100 times in his career. Mr. Jackson is a licensed Professional Engineer in the states of Texas and Louisiana. he also holds national certifications in safety as a CSP - Certified Safety Professional, CFEI - Certified Fire & Explosion Investigator, Certified Drone Pilot, and state licenses as a Private Investigator, Certified Security Officer, Personal Protection Officer - Texas Private Security. Mr. Jackson is currently a member of the National Association of Fire Investigators and has previously been a member of NSPE, SAE, NFPA, and previously a certified firefighter, certified scuba diver, among other pursuits. Mr. Jackson has testified on a wide variety of subjects for both plaintiff and defense matters. His early professional experience began with NASA/JSC as a support contractor, then a civil servant working on the Space Shuttle and Space Station programs, where he gained failure analysis and design experience, then worked with Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Institutional Safety at the Johnson Space Center. At that time in the Institutional Safety Office, he gained experience in emergency response, fire protection and fire investigation as well as incident investigations of all types. the interest in accident investigations and the downturn in the government space industry led him to a career in forensic investigations in the fields of engineering, fire and safety. After relocating to East Texas, to SEAL Corporation, he has continued to thrive in these fields, adding structural failures and premises defects as well as industrial and recreational vehicles on land and water.
