Dr. Amandip S. Gill is a board-certified neurosurgeon with over 15 years of clinical and leadership experience, specializing in complex cranial and spine surgery, brain and spinal trauma, and surgical complications. Dr. Gill has served as Chief of Staff and Director of Neurosurgery at Adventist Health Simi Valley, where he led multidisciplinary teams, peer review committees, and major quality improvement initiatives. He is recognized for both his technical skill in the operating room and his commitment to patient-centered care. Dr. Gill earned his undergraduate degree with Highest Honors in Neuroscience from UCLA and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. He completed his medical degree at UC Irvine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AΩA) Honor Society and received multiple awards for both research and clinical excellence. He completed his neurosurgery residency at UC Irvine, serving as Chief Resident and earning distinctions for clinical teaching and humanism. Dr. Gill went on to complete dual fellowships in functional, stereotactic, epilepsy, and pain neurosurgery as well as skull base neurosurgery. Dr. Gill has extensive experience in hospital peer review, standards of care analysis, and quality and safety systems. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and textbooks, served as an expert in academic settings, and is the recipient of multiple awards for teaching, research, and patient care. His expertise includes deep brain stimulation, complex spinal instrumentation, minimally invasive surgery, and the management of brain tumors, vascular lesions, and traumatic injuries. He is licensed to practice medicine in California and maintains active board certification by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
