Dr. Jodry is a Board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist and nationally recognized expert in hospital-based obstetric care, maternal-fetal emergencies, and health system leadership under both civilian and military conditions. She brings over a decade of clinical, academic, operational, and leadership experience to her role as an expert witness, with particular expertise in complex obstetric decision-making, maternal safety, informed consent, institutional response to complications, and high-acuity hospital care. Areas of Focus • Obstetric and gynecologic standard of care • Obstetric emergencies and hospital-based labor and delivery care • Maternal injury and adverse outcomes • Informed consent, disclosure, and patient engagement • Delay in diagnosis or escalation • Communication failures and documentation practices • Institutional response to complications and systems-level risk • Narrative integrity and juror perception of clinician and hospital conduct • High-acuity decision-making under emergent conditions Dr. Jodry has 12 years of clinical experience and currently serves as Site Director of Obstetric Hospitalists at a high-volume hospital serving an underserved community. She previously served as Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where she practiced as an attending OB/GYN Hospitalist at a tertiary referral center with a Level IV NICU and Level I trauma designation. She regularly manages complex obstetric and gynecologic emergencies and complications and has extensive experience in interdisciplinary escalation, cross-service coordination, and high-risk maternal care. Dr. Jodry regularly manages complex obstetric and gynecologic emergencies, including severe maternal morbidity, obstetric hemorrhage, maternal sepsis, cesarean delivery complications, operative vaginal delivery, breech delivery, ectopic pregnancy, and interdisciplinary escalation of care. Her clinical practice provides ongoing experience with real-time decision-making in high-risk and rapidly evolving situations. In addition to standard-of-care analysis, Dr. Jodry assists counsel in identifying cases where clinical or institutional conduct—while technically defensible—may nevertheless be perceived by jurors as lacking transparency, accountability, fairness, or meaningful patient engagement. She is frequently consulted early in litigation to help counsel distinguish tragic outcomes from ethically compromised care before significant litigation resources are committed, particularly in gray-zone cases where liability is uncertain but juror resonance may be substantial. In addition to her civilian practice, Dr. Jodry has served with distinction as a medical officer in the Army National Guard, including deployment as a Battalion Surgeon in Afghanistan and service as Brigade Surgeon for the 34th Division Support Brigade in Kuwait, overseeing medical operations for more than 2,000 service members across 11 countries. Her military leadership experience includes trauma care in austere combat environments, systems-level operational oversight, and development of medical evacuation and emergency response protocols under conditions of extreme uncertainty and stress. Dr. Jodry’s background also includes research and national leadership related to cervical cancer screening and outcome disparities, maternal mortality, underserved populations, and barriers to care. Her work is informed by a balanced perspective that integrates frontline clinical experience, academic rigor, operational leadership, and systems-level analysis. Dr. Jodry is available to consult on both plaintiff and defense matters nationwide. Her testimony and consultation are distinguished by clinical precision, clarity of explanation, calm under pressure, and a disciplined commitment to ethical consistency and impartial analysis.
