Dr. Vanessa Hux is an experienced, board-certified Ob/Gyn currently practicing in Lakeland, FL. Dr. Hux completed her undergraduate degree with a B.S. in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry at Yale University and then matriculated to Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, where she completed her M.D. During her training, she also completed a fellowship in clinical research and studied the impact of chronic stress on risk for preeclampsia. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio in 2018. She completed her board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2021. Dr. Hux has published and presented numerous times on her research and on topics in obstetrics and gynecology. She has clinical and teaching experience in a variety of community and academic settings and is active in quality improvement work throughout the state of Florida. She currently practices as a comprehensive Obstetrician/Gynecologist in Lakeland, Florida.
