The principal of Leading Edge Aviation Consulting, Mike Slattery, has extensive experience in the fields of business development, program management, aircraft modification and product engineering and airworthiness certification. Mike has over 40 years experience in the aerospace and aviation industry. He was the president of United Rotorcraft for 6 years providing special mission equipment solutions for commercial and military rotorwing and armored ground vehicle projects, for both domestic and international customers. He worked for 18 years at Air Methods Corporation, the largest helicopter EMS transport company in the world, holding numerous positions including Director of Program Management, Director of Business Development, Director of Sales and Marketing, and Manager of Engineering and Certification. He also worked for Garrett Turbine Engine Division as a Reliability Engineer and for Hughes Missile Systems Group as a Project Engineer. Education: M.S.
