Dr. Bill Moreau, DC, DACBSP, FACSM, is a nationally recognized expert in concussion, post-concussion syndrome, and post-traumatic autonomic dysfunction, including dysautonomia and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). With over 40 years of clinical experience, Dr. Moreau provides expert consultation and testimony in complex personal injury cases involving mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI), sports-related injuries, and their neurologic and physiologic sequelae. Dr. Moreau is the founder and CEO of NeuroSport Spine and Concussion Center, a specialty clinic dedicated to the evidence-based management of concussion, post-concussion syndrome, and autonomic dysfunction. He is board-certified in chiropractic sports medicine (DACBSP) and is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (FACSM). He has extensive training in neuro-orthopedic rehabilitation, functional neurologic assessment, and autonomic testing. His clinical protocols are grounded in research and include validated testing outcomes. Dr. Moreau is also the developer of the Moreau POTS Protocol, an advanced rehabilitation system for post-traumatic dysautonomia. He served as Vice President of Sports Medicine at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and is the first and only chiropractor appointed to lead its medical division. In this role, Dr. Moreau directed the integrated care of thousands of elite athletes and shaped national policy on concussion care and return-to-play decisions. He served as Chief Medical Officer for Team USA at both the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games and the 2016 Rio Summer Olympic Games, providing for the oversight of medical operations and athlete safety. Dr. Moreau was a contributing member of the NFL Head, Neck, and Spine Committee’s Think Tank on Concussion, collaborating with leading international neurologists, researchers, and sports medicine experts to improve international concussion protocols. His work bridges high-performance athlete care and complex clinical rehabilitation, with a deep understanding of the subtle and often overlooked effects of head and neck trauma. In his medico-legal practice, Dr. Moreau provides expert witness services including comprehensive consultation, detailed narrative reporting, causation analysis, and deposition/trial testimony. He offers clear, objective documentation of injury, impairment, prognosis, and medical necessity—critical for attorneys working to validate injury claims and secure appropriate settlements.
