Charles “Chip” Hunter, Ph.D., has been an expert economist for over 20 years, advising clients on important economic questions raised in disputes, including wrongful death and personal injury cases, employment disputes, intellectual property litigation, consumer fraud class actions, and bankruptcy cases. He has assisted attorneys in litigation and regulatory matters across all stages, including early case assessment, discovery, depositions, pretrial motions and trial. Hunter Economics provides rigorous economic analysis and excellent client support. We are skilled in economic theory, statistics and econometrics, and we ensure the highest standard of service to all our clients. Most of all, we enjoy assisting our clients in understanding what we do and how we can help. Translating disparate sources of data into a clear story is our passion. We transform complicated economic evidence and theory into understandable reports and testimony, then coach our clients on ways the story impacts their case. We draw on decades of experience, high-level academic training, and up-to-date knowledge of economic theory and techniques. Because each case is unique, we go the extra mile to find relevant data. Our work is comprehensive and unbiased. Dr. Hunter has a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, where he studied under multiple Nobel laureates, including his dissertation advisor. He also has a Master of Public Affairs degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Colorado.
