Received medical degree from Florida International University in Miami, FL. Completed General Surgery Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC and completed Minimally Invasive/Bariatric Surgery Fellowship at Northwest Hospital, Baltimore, MD. Currently practicing as part of Lifebridge Health in Baltimore, MD since 2022. Outpatient practice involves robotic/minimally invasive surgery including ventral/incisional and inguinal hernia repair, abdominal wall reconstruction for large hernias, hiatal hernia repair, gallbladder disease and pathology. Additionally, outpatient cases including skin and soft tissue pathology such as lipomas as well as upper endoscopies and colonoscopies. Also take call frequently as an acute care and emergency surgeon - common cases in this setting include open lysis of adhesions for small bowel obstruction, small bowel resection surgery, gastric perforation repair, open and minimally invasive colorectal surgery for diverticulitis, appendectomies, and cholecystectomies. Take emergency bariatric surgery call frequently with common cases including closed loop obstructions, internal hernias and intussusception in patients with history of bariatric surgery. Certified in BLS, ACLS, ATLS. Board Certified in General Surgery. Actively teach fellows in Minimally Invasive Fellowship and residents in General Surgery.
