With over 25 years of clinical experience in Clinical Rheumatology, I am a seasoned expert in my field, now stepping into the role of expert witness. I have maintained board certification since 2000.    I've owned a successful private practice since 2002. My clinical expertise spans Fibromyalgia, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout, Psoriatic Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Lupus, Vasculitis, Polymyalgia Rheumatica, Scleroderma, Dermatomyositis, Polymyositis, and Osteoporosis. With a special focus on biologics and Early Arthritis management. I’ve enhanced my skills through SEAK’s expert witness training, preparing me to offer insightful, evidence-based testimony. This training combined with nuanced, clinical acumen has prepared me well for this field.  Alongside my practice, I serve as an Associate Clinical Professor at Texas A&M Medical School and volunteer at a local community clinic. These activities keep me deeply connected to both clinical practice and community health needs.  I maintain board certification in Rheumatology through ABIM, as well as board eligibility for Internal Medicine. I am also Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology through NBPAS. I am a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology and an expert level Musculoskeletal Sonographer. I am licensed to practice in the state of Texas. I graduated from Georgetown University with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Biology. Graduated from University of South Florida College of Medicine. Completed training in Internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Completed fellowship in Rheumatology at University of Miami. I am fluent in Spanish.
