Dr. Yousef Zarbalian is a Rheumatologist and internist who is also an expert in integrative medicine and licensed to perform acupuncture. He has niche expertise in seeing patients with Hypermobility syndrome and Ehlers-danlos syndromes, who find that their complex multi-system disease is insufficiently addressed in conventional medical clinics. In his own clinic at East-West Rheumatology, he frequently sees patients who are dealing with chronic multi-organ illness that is not improving with standard of care therapies. Patients previously seen by multiple rheumatologists (including at quaternary care treatment centers such as Johns Hopkins Hospital and George Washington University) have sought out Dr. Zarbalian's expertise.
