Dr. Long delivers comprehensive clinical care to patients with mental health disorders across the lifespan. Her expertise includes the management of conditions such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders (depression and bipolar(, schizophrenia and other other psychotic disorders, personality disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders (autism and ADHD), and comorbid substance use disorders. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Long teaches at the graduate level at a Big Ten university and leads a multidisciplinary team of credentialed healthcare professionals. Dr. Long is a nationally recognized nursing expert with over 40 years of experience spanning clinical practice, education, and research. She is board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) and holds licensure in both Ohio and Connecticut. Dr. Long earned her PhD in Nursing from Mercer University, a Master’s in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Master’s in Nursing Education from Chamberlain University. She also holds national certification in infusion therapy (CRNI). She is available for plaintiff and defense cases, nationwide. Expert witness services include case review, affidavits, reports, deposition, and trial testimony.
