Previously, he chaired the Department of Neurology at Gundersen Health System and directed its Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center. Dr. Aldred earned his medical degree from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed his residency, chief residency, and Movement Disorders Fellowship at Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU), where he also participated in advanced research training through the Human Investigators Program. He is board-certified in Neurology and Vascular Neurology by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, with recertifications in 2020 and 2024. Licensed to practice in Washington, Montana, Idaho, and Arizona, Dr. Aldred has over 15 years of clinical experience in neurology and has conducted over 100 clinical trials, focusing on novel therapies for neurological conditions.
