I am a board certified neurosurgeon, actively practicing full brain and spine surgery along with neurosurgery clinic at a regional medical center, including elective/urgent/trauma surgeries. I have 16+ years in one stable practice. My primary neurosurgery focus is on spine, brain, and trauma. I graduated with extensive scholarships from Indiana University, which is by far the largest medical school in the country, and did 7 years of neurosurgery residency covering 5 hospitals following that time. I am an accomplished academician, scoring 99th national percentile on USMLE step 1 medical boards, and 95th national percentile score for neurosurgery written boards. I have published in peer-reviewed journals and served many roles as an administrator. My administrative roles include: 2 terms (4 years) as department of surgery chair, current department of neurosurgery chair, multiple years on credentialing committees, 4 years as medical group compensation committee chair, member of trauma committee, and other administrative roles. I am an active member of the American Association of Neurological surgery and the Neurosurgical Society of America.
