Dr. Augsten thoroughly analyzes environmental and chemical substances, including metals, pesticides, toxic gases, solvents, particulates, carcinogens, industrial chemicals, allergens, and natural toxins. His evaluations provide a comprehensive assessment of potential exposures and their impact on human health. His expertise extends to clinical and forensic toxicology, psychopharmacology, medication errors, drug overdose, opioid and substance-related matters, DUI, poisoning, and standard-of-care reviews. He routinely assists counsel in evaluating causation, exposure, dosing, and the pharmacological mechanisms underlying complex cases. Dr. Augsten also provides tailored consulting services that support the development and optimization of clinical practice standards, drawing on his broad knowledge across toxicology and pharmacology to inform standard-of-care assessments.
