Dr. Alberto Augsten is the only Dual Board Certified Toxicologist and Psychopharmacologist in the nation, and the founder of Augsten Consulting. He has been qualified as an expert in Toxicology in both criminal and civil cases, providing clear, evidence-based opinions to attorneys representing plaintiffs and defendants alike. Dr. Augsten thoroughly analyzes environmental and chemical substances, including metals, pesticides, toxic gases, solvents, particulates, carcinogens, industrial chemicals, allergens, and natural toxins. His evaluations provide a comprehensive assessment of potential exposures and their impact on human health. His expertise extends to clinical and forensic toxicology, psychopharmacology, medication errors, drug overdose, opioid and substance-related matters, DUI, poisoning, and standard-of-care reviews.
