As a board-certified nephrologist with over a decade of experience, I am proud to offer my expertise as a Nephrology expert witness. My journey in medicine began with an Internal Medicine residency at Southern Illinois University in 2009, followed by a prestigious Nephrology fellowship at The Ohio State University in 2011. My deep commitment to advancing nephrology continued through my role as an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University, a position that allowed me to blend clinical practice with academic teaching and research. Since 2014, I have been a part of a nephrology group practice, serving as a nephrologist and interventional nephrologist. Throughout my career, I have provided high-quality patient care while accumulating extensive experience in various aspects of nephrology, including acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease (CKD), dialysis, hypertension, and electrolyte disorders. This background uniquely positions me to offer comprehensive insights into cases involving complex renal pathologies and related treatment protocols. In addition to my clinical practice, I currently serve as the Medical Director for both inpatient and outpatient dialysis services. This leadership role demands not only the medical oversight of dialysis programs but also the coordination of multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest standards of care for patients undergoing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis. My dual role as a clinical provider and medical director equips me with the practical and administrative knowledge required to evaluate both the medical and operational standards in cases involving Kidney disease related care. One of the distinctive aspects of my career is my expertise as an interventional nephrologist. I routinely perform hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis access-related procedures, including the angiogram, angioplasty along with Hemodialysis and Peritoneal dialysis catheter related procedures amongst other vascular interventions critical for kidney disease patients. My interventional skills allow me to assess procedural outcomes, vascular access complications, and the long-term management of dialysis access, which can be crucial elements in legal cases where procedural outcomes are in question. My role as a nephrology expert witness is supported by a strong academic foundation, real-world clinical experience, and administrative oversight.
