She earned her medical degree from the Keck School of Medicine at USC with highest honors, and completed a residency in diagnostic radiology at the University of California San Diego, before pursuing her fellowship training at UCSD. Throughout her academic tenure, Dr. Delfanti was the recipient of many awards, honors and grants. Dr. Delfanti has presented her research at numerous conferences and has co-authored an array of publications including several on advanced imaging techniques in brain tumors. Throughout her medical career she has been active in various groups, taking on leadership roles. She is fluent in Italian and highly proficient in Spanish, and in her spare time Dr. Delfanti enjoys traveling, the beach, culinary excursions, running, and Italian literature. Dr. Delfanti is committed to providing patient-centered care and collaborative relationships with her clinical colleagues.
