Additional Information

I received my medical degree from my hometown at the University of Kansas, completed my Anesthesia residency at Rush Medical Center in Chicago, and an Executive Physician MBA from The Heller School at Brandeis University. I am a Fellow of the Association of Anesthesia Clinical Directors (FAACD) as well as a Fellow of the American Society of Anesthesiology(FASA). My clinical passion is Neuroanesthesia but the breadth of my clinical expertise includes multi-specialty anesthesia care as I am engaged in full-call duties with cases involving trauma, neurosurgery, orthopedics, vascular, thoracic, urology, gynecology, ENT, and all of the non-OR anesthesia site cases (NORA). My professional journey has been shaped by a variety of roles—as a clinician, educator, researcher, mentor, administrator, and national volunteer. I previously served as Vice Chair for Clinical Affairs and Director of Neuroanesthesia at Tufts Medical Center, experiences that reinforced my passion for improving healthcare systems while never losing sight of the individual patient. After many rewarding year in academic leadership, I recently made the decision to join The Cleveland Clinic to focus on what has always inspire me most - caring for patients with complex neurological disease and collaborating with world-class colleagues. I would be happy to provide my complete curriculum vitae.
