Ralph Ortiz, D.O., MPH is the Owner and Medical Director of Medical Pain Consultants in Dryden, New York. He founded Medical Pain Consultants in 2002 with the mission of offering a critically important array of medical services designed to manage and alleviate severe and chronic pain. Dr. Ortiz provides medical diagnosis and therapy for all degrees of pain management, moderately invasive injection therapies- musculoskeletal, nerve blocks, and joint injections as well as Osteopathic Manipulation. Dr. Ortiz is a founding member of the New York Pain Society and has been an active Board Member since 2010. He was past president of the Tompkins County Chapter of the Medical Society of New York in 2010 and a Board member since. Dr. Ortiz has worked with all manner of insurance companies – Private, Medicare/Medicaid, and Workers Compensation since 2003 for which he has done many depositions and peer reviews. He has done multiple Independent Medical Exams for work related, automobile and personal injury cases as well as Expert Witness and court room testimony. Dr. Ortiz will do independent medical examinations and review medical expert witness cases. He is licensed in New York State but will take cases from wherever his expertise is needed.
