I am a board-certified physician expert in the field of Occupational & Environmental Medicine (OEM). I have nearly 12 years of experience in OEM and workers' compensation. I also am a certified medicolegal evaluator (CMLE). My expertise includes workplace and personal injury evaluation and management (musculoskeletal injuries, eye injuries, lacerations, etc.) and hazardous exposure evaluation and management (heavy metals, asbestos, chemicals, blood borne pathogens, noise, heat and more), I also evaluate and give opinions on causation, extent of injury, maximum medical improvement, impairment, disability and ability to return to work. I am trained in the utilization of the following regulatory standards: Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), American National Standards Institute (ANSI), Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry (ATSDR) and more. I am also experienced in using the following evidence-based resources: Official Disability Guidelines (ODG), MDGuidelines, American Medical Association’s (AMA) Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment (4th, 5th & 6th editions) and more. I have performed numerous site assessments at various industrial facilities. I have performed hundreds of independent medical exams, peer reviews, utilization reviews and records reviews. I have experience providing trial and deposition testimony.
