His specializations include all aspects of electrophysiology, catheter ablations, left atrial appendage closure devices, cardiac device management, and General Cardiology. He serves as the Director of the Comprehensive Arrhythmia Center. Dr.Ahmed is also an Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Rockford. Dr.Ahmed has conducted research projects and presented at national and international cardiology conferences. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed articles. In addition to his medical expertise, Dr. Ahmed has an MBA with an emphasis in Healthcare and is a certified physician executive by the American Association of Physician Leadership.
