Dr. Silver obtained his M.D. from the University of Chicago in 2007. Upon graduation, he completed his residency in emergency medicine at the University of Cincinnati, widely renown as one of the finest emergency medicine programs in the United States. Dr. Silver's extensive clinical experience encompasses diverse emergency settings, including trauma centers, urban and rural hospitals and urgent cares, equipping him with an unparalleled understanding of the challenges and standards of care within the field. Dr. Silver is board-certified in emergency medicine and maintains active licensure in the State of New York. ​As an expert witness, Dr. Silver brings a meticulous and analytical approach to evaluating medical cases, diligently examining the records and applying his experience and knowledge to assess standards of care, adherence to protocols, and identifying potential issues. Dr. Silver's impartial and articulate expert opinions have become instrumental in aiding law firms to understand complex medical matters. ​​Dr. Silver also has extensive experience in the field of Emergency Medical Services as a medical director, Emergency Medical Service's Liaison, field physician and executive board member of the Regional Emergency Medical Advisory Committee and chair of the QA/QI Committee and vice-chair of the Airway Committee. He maintains the title of an Assistant Clinical Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Zucker/Hofstra School of Medicine in New York and is actively involved in resident education and has presented on the local and national level. He is also involved in research and publications contributing to the field of Emergency Medicine and the Emergency Medical Services.
