I am a licensed psychologist in Florida and Pennsylvania and have been qualified to testify as an expert witness in county and federal courts across several states since 1980. I earned my Ph.D. in Psychology from Temple University (1975). I am a PSYPACT member which allows me to practice in most states. I hold two diplomate certifications from the American Board of Professional Psychology (in Clinical Psychology and Psychoanalysis), an honor earned by fewer than 1% of psychologists. I am a Fellow of the Academy of Clinical Psychology and the Academy of Psychoanalysis. Throughout my career, I have served as President of the Pennsylvania Psychological Association, as a member of the American Psychological Association’s Governing Council, and as a consultant for the Lehigh County Public Defender’s Office. I have taught clinical and forensic assessment to doctoral students at Lehigh University, and Chestnut Hill College. I served as a section co editor for the Psychodynamic Diagnostic Manual, 2nd Edition (PDM 2). I am an author of over 100 peer-reviewed publications and chapters and have presented nationally and internationally at conferences in psychoanalysis, clinical psychology, and forensic assessment. I have received numerous honors, including the Pennsylvania Psychological Association’s Distinguished Service Award and the International Psychoanalytic Association’s award for best publication from North America. Delivered a TEDx Talk, “The Power of Apology,” in November 2014. Listed in Wikipedia.
