Qualifications: Marcus Marino is a registered and licensed architect in the State of California since 2019, and the State of New York since 1981. He is a Nationally Certified licensed registered architect with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB). He also serves at the pleasure of the State of California’s Office of Emergency Services on the Safety Assessment Program, to assist in analyzing the conditions of structures damaged in multiple types of emergencies, such as fires, earthquakes, floods, etc. In addition to his architectural practice, he has been a developer of multiple successful residential properties, He has also acted as construction manager on several projects. For over 20 years, he has assisted legal firms in understanding the intricacies of construction projects and the obligations of all participants involved. He analyzes project disputes and claims in order to provide deeply researched and informed expert witness testimony. He also assists in the negotiation of settlements among parties involved in disputes arising out of construction projects. Having worked in his father's law office for several years as a young man, he developed a level of comfort with legal terminology and communicates easily and concisely with all legal teams, making for an efficient use of time and quick turn around of work product. As Vice President of Public Affairs of the American Institute of Architects while living in the East, he presented lectures revolving around the responsibilities of architects to both their clients and the public, as well as the ethics of architectural practice.
