Linda Anegawa, MD, MS, FACP, DABOM is a 25 year veteran of the healthcare field; a prominent leader in the obesity care/GLP-1 prescribing space, practicing physician, writer, and consultant dedicated to the treatment of metabolic and weight-related disease. She recently served as the Chief Medical Officer at Noom, where she led the companyʻs clinical vision and mission, originated the development of Noomʻs obesity care service line, served as the architect for Noomʻs clinical offerings for B2B, and designed protocols as well as clinical content to support both patients and clinicians entering the field of obesity care. Previously Linda was a Founding Physician Member and former Medical Director of PlushCare (acquired by Accolade), where she also founded and directed the obesity care program. She also boasts 15 years of academic primary care and bariatric medicine within hospital- and clinic-based systems. Lindaʻs expertise has led her to serve as a trusted advisor to many companies, including Ideal Protein of America, Ambra Bio, Form Health, Virta Health, Selectivor, Inviza, and Rhythm Pharmaceuticals. She has deposition experience as a member of both defense and prosecution teams and is a highly skilled presenter and speaker. Linda is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine, where she also earned an MS in Pharmacology, and completed residency at Stanford. She is certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine, and also by the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons. Her work developing one of the first Obesity Medicine clerkships in the USA earned her multiple national awards, including Fellowship of the American College of Physicians and the Kaiser Foundation Outstanding Clinical Teaching Award. Linda has served on the Obesity Medicine Association''s Outreach Committee and is recognized as a Low-Carb Topic Expert. She is the author of, "Not Another Keto Book: The Obesity Medicine Solution."
