Colette Holt is the country's foremost expert on disadvantaged, minority, women and small business programs. She has over 30 years of experience in designing business and supplier diversity initiatives. Her clients have included law firms; federal, state and local governments; national companies; universities; and minority or woman-owned businesses. She has been retained as an expert in numerous cases involving issues related to the constitutionality of race- and gender-conscious programs, as well as how such programs should be developed and implemented. She is a frequent lecturer and author on these issues, including to other attorneys. She has served for over 20 years as General Counsel to the American Contract Compliance Association, the national organization that trains professionals in this field. She is also a former Adjunct Professor at the Loyola University School of Law and the John Marshall Law School. Ms. Holt founded her firm after serving in senior government positions.
