Dr. Hannah Foster has a B.S. from the University of Dayton (2008), as well as a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina (2011). Additionally, she completed a Neurologic Physical Therapy residency program at Brooks Rehabilitation in Jacksonville, FL in 2013. Currently, Dr. Foster works as a full-time clinician in an acute care hospital, specifically in the setting of oncology with patients with gynecologic and hematologic cancers. Dr. Foster is also an adjunct faculty member within the Brooks Institute of Higher Learning (Jacksonville, FL) working as a research and publication mentor to current Neurologic Physical Therapy residents. She serves on the Nominating Committee of the Brain Injury Special Interest Group within the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy. Hannah is the published primary author of a peer-reviewed journal article, as well as supporting author on two other peer-reviewed articles and over 20 professional poster presentations. Dr. Foster has strong experience in the acute care and rehabilitation settings with particular expertise in the areas of neurology and oncology. She is experienced in clinical development, research, direct patient care, clinical documentation and mentoring. Hannah demonstrates diverse therapeutic expertise including neurology (stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s Disease, etc.), oncology, geriatrics, orthopedics, post-operative care, and general acute care medicine.
