I am a full-time clinical practitioner of emergency medicine, am board-certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, and am a fellow of the American College of Emergency Practitioners. I have been in practice for over 17 years and have extensive experience at multiple practice levels, including level 1 trauma centers, teaching facilities, critical access emergency rooms, and free-standing emergency rooms. I am ACLS and PALS certified. I have actively taught and supervised medical students, residents, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants throughout my 17 years of clinical and teaching practice. I graduated cum laude with a degree in Zoology from University of Texas, attended medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch and was a chief resident of the emergency medicine program at University of Texas Southwestern.
