I am a full time clinical practitioner of emergency medicine board certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. I am a fellow of the American College of Emergency Practitioners. I have been in practice for over 16 years and have extensive experience at multiple practice levels including level 1 trauma centers, teaching facilities, critical access emergency rooms and free-standing emergency rooms. I am ACLS and PALS certified. I have actively taught and supervised medical student, residents, nurse practitioners and physician assistants throughout my 16 years of clinical and teaching practice. I graduated cum laude with a degree in Zoology from The University of Texas, medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch and was a chief resident of the emergency medicine program at University of Texas Southwestern.
