As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Top Delaware Nurse, Advanced Practice Director, Fellow of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, and President of the Delaware Coalition of Nurse Practitioners, I have the skillset to provide consultation, depositions, and expert witness services. With 25 years of primary care, urgent care, and orthopedic experience, I deliver care to primary and urgent care patients and precept medical, NP, PA, PT, And OT students. As an Assistant Professor, I taught undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral nursing courses while maintaining a clinical practice. As an international, national, and regional presenter, author, journal reviewer, and former editor, I am well-versed in recognizing the standard of care, the importance of communication and evidence-informed documentation, and the impact of Full Practice Authority on practice. My medical legal experience includes advance practice case reviews and depositions in Baltimore, Philadelphia, New York, and Michigan, to include serving as an expert witness in Oregon federal court.
